The viewer sent us this video of lightning hitting a pole on Oakdale Drive in Waukesha on Monday. In Waukesha County, a severe storm warning is valid until 16:45. About 4:30 p.m. on Monday, nearly 10,000 We Energies customers in Waukesha had no service. It was 27th and Morgan on Monday in Milwaukee after heavy rains temporarily flooded the roads. Heavy rain forced the driver to cross flooded roads.
The harsh weather on Monday does not stop. The city of Milwaukee on Tuesday and Wednesday published recommendations regarding heat in terms of heat, as the National Weather Service predicts that the heat index will be up to 105.
Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) also announced on Monday that they will close schools on Tuesday due to forecasting extremely hot weather.
