Obviously alluding to his modest past when he used to drive an autorickshaw to procure living, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday attacked Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, saying an autorickshaw has outperformed Mercedes vehicle.
"Autorickshaw dominated Mercedes (car)... since this is an administration of the everyday person," Shinde tweeted in Marathi.
Shinde, whose disobedience to the Sena initiative with no less than 40 MLAs prompted the breakdown of the Thackeray-drove MVA government last week, was insulted as an auto cart driver by some Sena pioneers when he was driving the revolt.
